I have to say that I think this is a great Forum for local residents to get their thoughts off their chest but I have to say that it is a very diffcult website to find. I was trying to get my partner to have a look at it and he couldnt find it through Yahoo! or Google, I ended up having to give him the link. I only found it by pure chance when I was seraching for more info on Lidl in Penicuik. Is there anyway it can be made more accessible as I see there are only 15 registered users.

This forum is a reincarnation of a previous forum which I hosted for just over a year. There used to be quite a few members on that one and it was very lively at times. Sometimes just a bit too lively. Anyway, towards the end of last year the number of members was dwindling and fewer and fewer people were contributing. As it was costing me quite a bit of money to host the forum, I decided that it was not worth renewing the domain name or paying to host the web site.

However, I eventually decided to keep the door open and set up this forum. It does not cost me anything and is not as flexible as the last one was but it does the job. The old forum is still listed on Penicuik What's on but I never did get round to doing anything about this one.

Thanks for that. Was just wondering as it seems a shame that people were missing it but if it was costing money and numbers were reducing I can completely understand why. This is a good forum though and will do my best to spread the word!
