I have heard from a couple of members of my family living in different parts of Penicuik that 'Talk Talk' have been going round knocking on doors and trying to sell the finer points of signing up - part of the sales pitch though is 'can I come in and check your phone line' to which the answer has been a definate no. For the life of me though I cannot think why they would need to check the line except to enhance the sales pitch with a 'oh yes you'll get a really good broadband experience with this'.. Needless to say on both occasions the sales person didn't manage any sensible sort of answer..
Anyone had them at the door and actually had them in??
