Post office closures

Four Midlothian Post Offices to close - Easthouses, Carrington, Poltonhall and Lasswade. Six-week consultation period now underway - wonder if there will be much outcry locally - and will it make any difference?

Judging by the "consultation" over in Fife, it will make no difference at all and they will all close as expected. The only way to avoid closures is to have a high profile member of the government in the area who might be inconvenienced by losing their local post office
