PostSubject: Music Ripoff ??   Music Ripoff ?? Icon_minitimeFri Aug 21, 2009 4:48 pm

Just been looking to see what's on www.penicuikwhatson.co.uk. There's a band called Makossa playing in the Vic in Auchendinny next Saturday night. It's free entry, as it should be.
Same band is playing a week later in the Craigiebield but it costs £8 to get in!!!! Think I know where I'll be going to see them then.......

Was at the Vic on Saturday, what a great night - Makossa are great, but maybe just a bit more amplified than they should be in a small area.

Nothing to do with music, rip off yes..
Last weekend I had to get some replacement printer cartridges so set about getting prices, 1st stop Amazon - 3 colour cartidges for £17.98, 2nd stop Tesco - same pack £24 so ordered the Amazon one. Out of interest looked in Currys on Princes Street who wanted £33 for them and today whilst in John Lewis noticed them selling for £24.50. All prices for the same pack of Canon printer cartridges..
