Well, I don't know what everyone else has been doing today but I was up bright and early at 7am this morning Smile The truth is that it was too hot, the sun was shining and I had a kitchen to finish Rolling Eyes Anyway, after setting up the pasting table in the back garden, painting, papering and laying the new carpet it's finally finished cheers

My wife received a phone call yesterday. The guy offered to give her a thousand pounds if she answered one small question. He then asked her when she last had a new kitchen. After telling him "one week", he then hung up. What a cheek Smile

Excellent stuff! Very Happy

These sales folk are so annoying - they seem to think that you would just wait around for someone to call when you need a new kitchen / bathroom / double glazing / roofline etc.

I got a call from some bunch selling replacement windows.

"When were your windows intalled?" she asks.

"I dunno..... When the house was built, I suppose."

"And when was that?"

"I'm not sure," I tell her, "But I think it was about 120 years ago."

"Ooh, your PVC windows are bound to need replacing by now."
