Take a look at how Penicuik and Midlothian was in the olden days of 1985 and 1986 with the Domesday Reloaded Project.
I remember seeing this computer system when it came out and it seemed quite amazing and advanced though it looks very dated now. There have been quite a few changes over the 25 years since it came out.
