http://edinburghnews.scotsman.com/scotland/Man-dies-in-blaze-at.6707084.jp
I see from this report that one of the Bilston Crusties has died in a fire.
While I have no wish to be callous -- I can imagine that being burned to death must be one of the more unpleasant ways to go -- I'm puzzled to know what this lot are still doing there. I thought they were protesting against the A701 dualling which is so far on the back burner that it's in a kitchen four doors up the street!
And has been for years and is likely to be for several more unless my information is duff -- which is possible.
Is there some point to this "eco camp" as Scotsman describes it or is it just another excuse to live off the taxpayer?

I've been wondering why they're still staying there for some time now. Maybe they've decided to make it
their headquarters for any protests they need to organise or maybe it's a lot cheaper to live there.
