New Penicuik flats

Anyone know why the new 1 & 2 bed apartments in John St, Penicuik don't seem to be selling?

They are now offering "Massive Final Reductions" as seen in the link below, with prices as low as £80,000!

They look quite temping, especially the ones with the en-suite but can't help being concerned as to why they aren't selling. Is it due to their location & subsequent noise from the street & pubs, etc?

The prices have dropped a lot since they were first built - I think they were about £116,000 for the 1 beds originally then went down to £98,000. Not very good for anyone who has already bought one - perhaps it was impossible to get a mortgage on them.
Not sure about parking facilities for them as there does not seem to be much space round the back now. It should be a lot quieter there than it is in the High Street so don't think noise would be too much of a problem.
