Pentland B&B

Hi
I'm a relative newcomer to Midlothian having only lived here for 17 years. One thing has always puzzled me and that's the little row of B&B cottages at the Lang Hill road end. When I drive past the people staying in these cottages certainly don't seem like holiday makers.

I've always been curious as to whether it is actually a B&B or more like a half way house.

Hi Betty_blue and welcome to the forum. I couldn't find Lang Hill road on google maps but I presume you mean these cottages here http://g.co/maps/fm2ds As far as I know they provide bed and breakfast and homeless people have been accommodated.

Thanks, yes those are the cottages I mean. Was thinking about booking my parents in once and someone suggested I find somewhere else.

I was just curious really - as I said it doesn't look particularly B&B like.
