It probably will never happen.... at least not for many years (and over budget) but how do buses going east on the south side of George Street pick up and drop off passengers if there are still parking spaces there???

From my point of view it will depend on where they put the bus stops so that I can change to catch a bus to and from Ocean terminal. If they did it now without changing the bus stops I would have to cross from Princes street to George Street in the morning and back again at night Sad

I had not thought of that particular problem - a nice hike up the hill from Princes Street to George Street (with trams to avoid too). It sounds like someone worked this out with a model and never visited the area to see how it would work in practice!
Very Happy

Come on, Andy! Nice little two-minute jog up South St Andrew Street first thing in the morning. Set you up for the day!
Seriously, it looks brilliant on paper but, as Sam says, there appears to be the odd detail that hasn't quite been thought through! Why am I not surprised? Shocked

Wow, you're a genius. Maybe I should just jog right down to my work and it would save me having to wait on any buses as well Laughing
