I see that the cycle path from Loanhead to the bypass is to be extended to Gilmerton. http://www.scotsman.com/edinburgh-evening-news/transport/cyclists-hail-traffic-free-route-to-midlothian-1-2927028

It will be good to have some more cycle path but I wish they would find the money to complete the stretch of old railway from Dalmore mill to Rosewell.

I went for a cycle on the old Loanhead railway path and it has now been extended from the underpass near Straiton pond :-)

The underpass is covered in graffiti as usual, but I found this bit more interesting
