I could see daylight through the garden shed which we have had for about 30 years and it wasn’t new then. I therefore decided that it was time for a new garden shed. I ordered one from Simply sheds and asked them to dismantle the old one, take it away and build the new one. They promptly came last Wednesday with the new one, took away the old one but told Moira that they couldn’t build the shed as the old one was supported by a few bricks and concrete slab base was needed. I promptly ordered 10 slabs and 8 bags of whin dust from Beatsons and they arrived on Saturday. I managed to carry the whin dust through the house to the back garden but only managed one 3X2 slab. Luckily my son was available and we soon managed to move the rest of the slabs. The BBC forecast was for a dry day on Sunday but as soon as I lifted a spade to start work it started to rain Sad I then ran out of whin dust and had to go along to Beatsons only to find that they were closed on a Sunday Sad Luckily I managed to get 3 bags from Darlings and have now finished the base. The people from Simply Sheds are coming back on Wednesday so hopefully it will finally get built.

3x2 slabs are for youngsters, that's for sure.
It's easy to "walk" them, but not through the house.
Nice job.
