PostSubject: Sudden oak death   Sat Sep 14, 2013 7:45 pm

It was a bit chilly this morning but the sun was trying to come out so I went for a cycle up to
Logan Lea reservoir. However, on the way up Bellwood I spotted this sign. It says that there
has been an outbreak of sudden oak death amongst the rhododendrons on Glencorse woodland
and they are slashing and burning. So, at the moment I am unable to use one of my favourite
walks Sad  You can find more information here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudden_oak_death
