I see that the council are keen to remind folks that wheelie bins must be shut properly or won't be collected.. http://www.midlothian.gov.uk/news/article/1048/if_your_bin_has_not_been_emptied

Well, at least somebody has at last explained the reason behind this at first sight petty piece of bureaucracy. So they can at least have a medal for that.
Now they can explain why the refuse collectors can't engage in a bit of come-and-go and find some way of working round this wee problem. It can hardly be rocket science, you wouldn't think.

I didn't realise morals were an essential part of being a dustman. Maybe I'm out of date. Very Happy
