Don't forget that the 47 will have a new route and the X47 will be known as the X37 from 24 June.

I imagine there will be some fun next week as people wonder what is happening when the 37 turns in to Straiton Retail park, the 47 goes off at Surgeons Hall and there is no sign of the X47, only the X37. How many people will be standing around waiting for the 141 I wonder?

Well, I managed to get to my work this morning. However, the bus tracker system wasn't working this morning so it didn't help not knowing which was the best bus to take after getting off at Nicolson Square Rolling Eyes

The Bus Tracker system seemed to be out of action all day as they were blank when I went in to Edinburgh at 9.30 and still like that after 4pm as I headed home.
More "good news" on the buses as Princes Street re-opens and York place closes

Sounds like fun, especially for the bus drivers!
Here are details of the latest diversion route which applies until September

I ended up getting three buses this morning plus a long walk as the 31 does not stop near a 22 bus stop. If I had waited for a bus to take me down leith walk it would have taken another 10 minutes. The bus trackers are still not working. I think I'll need to start going for the later X37 rather than the 47 in the mornings now Sad

It's bad enough that we're having to put up with all these route changes but it seems that the bus trackers at the bus stops are not showing times for the X37. Last night I took a 37 since it said that the next 37 was due in 10 minutes. However, tonight the 37 was sitting at the bus stop with the next one due in 9 minutes. I had a feeling that an X37 was due soon, so I waited. Sure enough a couple of minutes later the X37 pulled up Mad

New timetables but still the 37s run in to each other. Twice today when I was up at Deanburn I saw two 37s arrive together so even a 20 minute gap is not working and who knows what they will be like next week with Princes Street re-opening. For the 37 / X37 this means a carzy trip along York Place then down to Princes Street before turning off to George Street again with another change due in September!!!
As for the bus trackers, no sign of the 40s on them yet though they do appear on the online version. get it sorted please whoever is responsible for them!

I did complain to Lothlan buses and they wrote back telling me that the council were responsible for the trackers. They also told me that they would pass on my concerns.

I've heard that some timetables will be changing at the end of October and that apparently the 15A is to be withdrawn (Mon - Fri) with the normal 15 being revised to operate every 30 minutes via the Bush (after Auchendinny and Roslin) not just during the week but on Saturday as well, with the Sunday service being a 15A that doesn't go via Bush - Plus they will no longer go to Queen Margaret Uni. Some timetable changes due on the 40 but not sure if any for the others...

A diversion on the 37 and 47s this week going in to Edinburgh:

http://lothianbuses.com/plan-a-journey/service-update/nicolson-street-from-14-october

Looks like most of the big changes due at the end of October are for the 15 service with only timetable changes to the 37, 40 and 47 routes. New timetables can be downloaded from the Lothian Buses site via the link in musicman's post above. It will be interesting to see if the changes on the 37 do result in a more reliable service!

Such a change in the appearance of buses over the years in East Lothian - they have gone from green buses back in the "Eastern Scottish" days to........green buses in the eastlothianbuses days!!!!

I see that without any notice the 100 / 101 / 102 are no longer to be operated by McEwans, Stagecoach now to operate the service with effect of today.. Explains why I seen a Stagecoach bus going through Penicuik this morning...
