My son who lives in London came up at the beginning of this week for a holiday with his girlfriend. We had a barbeque for family and close friends last Saturday. Chris then showed his girfriend around Edinburgh and they went to the Tattoo which they had previously booked. They then hired a car and went touring round Scotland stopping off to see one of our previous foster kids near Inverness.

Anyway, they came back last night and had to take the car back this morning. They then went to see the Hearts/Rangers game and we arranged to meet them afterwards at Toby's carvery in Corstorphine. We had a really nice meal and the price was quite good. Afterwards we took them to the airport in good time for their flight home. All in all it's been a very interesting week
