Been interesting this week seem to have had various drivers on the one particular X47 run in the morning, 1 of which was driving on Monday and again today (Friday). With a 'good morning' to everyone boarding, a 'cheerio' or 'thanks' to folk alighting and regular announcements including 'this bus is limited stop and will not stop between Straiton & Cameron Toll', 'this is the last stop until Salisbury Place' and 'this bus has now reached the end of it's limited stop part of the route and will now stop at any bus stops as required' then interestingly at South Bridge, 'the next stop is North Bridge then St Andrews Sq'. When I got off the comment I heard from another passenger was 'that was like sitting on a train'.
Makes such a difference to encounter such a cheery soul on the otherwise generally dull run to work.....
