Old railway walk

I like that tarmac is being laid on the old railway walk just past Rosewell Very Happy

Does anyone know how far it is going to be laid and whether they are ever likely to lay some nearer the Penicuik end?

As you can see from the story, it is only at Rosewell area that they are tarring the walkway. They will probably get round to doing the Penicuik end just before the railway gets rebuilt!!!

Thanks for the link. It is interesting that one of the reasons for the upgrade is that

Well, if they think that this stretch was bad you should see some of the other parts of the walkway, particularly the bit near the old Roslyn station Rolling Eyes
