Sensible Decision by the cooncil!!!

Yes, I know it seems a bit far fetched but Midlothian Council have decided to allow a new snack bar to open in the layby near Gowkley Moss roundabout. The operator of Papa McGill did object to it (despite that fact he has been shut for several months and the portacabin is now rather shabby) but the council gave the go ahead, especially as he failed to turn up for 2 meetings.
It is not often we can praise the cooncil (well hardly ever) but for once they have got it right!!!!

Although I only occasionally used Papa McGills, it has been quite a while since it was last open. However, it did seem to be well used by truck drivers and it did seem a shame that nobody else was able to sell snacks there. So it does indeed seem to be a good decision.
