Jackson Street School - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Jackson Street School   Jackson Street School - Page 2 Icon_minitimeMon Jun 28, 2010 10:23 pm

I've just finished a browse through some local web sites and came across this:
http://www.penicuikcdt.org.uk/PDF/Letter_to_Chief_Executive.pdf
As a classic example of defamation, or libel as they call it in parts south, this takes some beating.
That's before we get onto arrogance, distortion of the facts, deliberate attempts to mislead the public, and on and on. And that's before we start on the paranoia.
Who are these people?
They never made a formal offer to buy the John Street building at any price, commercial or otherwise. Their chances of getting together enough funding to have made the building usable were, on a scale of 1-10, about -50. They want good relations with Midlothian Council but call the Chief Executive a liar.
They still trot out the same old lie about the threatened sale of the Town Hall to a property developer.
Mind-boggling.
