Back to the Past for Future Buses

What next? - we go back to the maroon and white buses like in the old days. Just when we got used to the coloured roofs which make spotting your bus much easier (providing they are using the branded buses).
I hope they are only going to repaint the buses as they need it and not wasting loads of money like the train companies do.

I would have preferred it if they were to use the money to ensure that the bus fares were reduced or kept in check. Either that or replace some of the really old buses that are still being used. Otherwise, it just seems like change for the sake of it.

Oh please, maroon and white is the only way forward, surely - especially after Saturday and last night!!

Very interesting photos of the buses on that site. At least they seem to be keeping the coloured roofs which make it so much easier to spot your bus as it trundles slowly through Princes Street Bus Station.

Full details with photos of the new look which I think is great. The only problem I discovered yesterday was the new Airlink buses are a similar blue to the Penicuik ones so easily mistaken when you are in Princes Street Bus Station
