Yes, there was a fire at the Stobhill Road refuse depot last night and I understand a number of the wheelie bin motors were damaged.

Yes that is correct, I also heard this morning that the collection depot in Bellmans Road is to close next year, some drivers and collectors will be moved to the Sobhill depot.Some redundencies are expected, in anticipation, some are opting for early retirement. The skip service will remain.
