Ah, the Daily Express - the paper that apparently can only print doom and gloom stories, imagine it's to snow during the winter.....

I keep hearing that forecasters cannot predict the weather with certainty for much more than 5 days in advance. Yet every summer/winter we have predictions for the coming summer/winter months saying that there's going to be severe drought/snow blizzards etc. When the predictions come true the ones that get it right jump up and down and say "Told you so!". If it's wrong they just keep their heads down and start making up the next season's predicted weather .
