Well, I hope you all had a good Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year
A couple of interesting things happened to us over the festive period. The first was that one of our previous foster kids gave birth to a baby boy on the 23rd of December
Thank goodness as there were going to be thirteen at the table for Christmas dinner
The second was not so good. I heard that an old friend that I went to school with had died of cancer
I went to his funeral today in Musselburgh and there was quite good turnout of probably over a hundred people. He was brought to the grave on a motorbike sidecar (he loved motorbikes) and it turned out that the grave was only about 20 feet away from where my grand mother and grand father were buried.
