Burglaries/ break-ins Empty

Has anyone else heard anything about a "spate" of these in the Mauricewood Road/ Belwood Road area?

I do know about one (attempted) on Belwood Road, but I'd heard nothing of a "spate" of such naughtinesses.

As asked above, has anyone else heard of others recently?

There was certainly a burglary in the Belwood area recently which was reported in the Advertiser and I heard that there was one a few months ago very close to that one. There have been warnings about attempted thefts due to people leaving doors and windows open too - I imagine that part of the town is ideal for crooks as most of the houses are sheltered from each other and the road.
