It's been a sad day for Moira and me. Two years ago my brother in law David Logan was driving a double decker bus, which he was selling, down south. The driver of a supermarket truck driving in the opposite direction fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into him. Since then he has suffered one infection after another. A few weeks ago he was finally sent home. However, a couple of days ago he was taken back into the ERI. We went to see him on Saturday but he was doped to the eyeballs and just ranting. Last night we spent the evening with the rest of the family sitting with him as his kidneys had packed in. We went home but were called back at 3am. Aged 52, he died peacefully at 4.20 am. May he finally rest in peace Sad

Well, the funeral was on Friday and it went very well. As Dave had been the head of parks for East Lothian for 30 years before
he was forced to retire through ill health there was a very large turnout. I would imagine there were around two hundred people
including a large number of council workers and his biker pals. It seems that even the minister came out of retirement especially
to conduct the service. He had even told the main funeral director who led the procession that when his turn came she had better
get it right Very Happy
