Oh dear!

Did my eyes deceive me? I was in Tesco this morning and noticed that the Penicuik Adervertiser's headline (in great big muckle letters) said something about "Revamed Sainsbury's".

I remember a couple of years ago when a proof copy one of our publications came back from the printers and I pored over it. There were a couple of very minor errors but nothing much to worry about. I passed it up to my boss and he came back to point out that the word "Statistics" (in big letters) on the front page had been miss-spelt

Sorry to pour cold water, Admin, but there ain't no such thing as the Penicuik Advertiser; what you saw was 'The Advertiser', previously known as 'The Midlothian Advertiser'.
Also I think you've missed a second typo. I haven't seen it but I think they managed to get 'Sainsbury's' wrong as well. That'll make them popular.

Indeed it is a jolly time of year However, I'll be glad when I go on holiday a week on Friday. My boss has been on leave looking after his wife who had to have an operation. In that time I have had to put the finishing touches to two publications with a third due a week on Tuesday. Also, there was a big meeting that we hold once in a blue moon and I had to record and write up the minutes. Phew!
