This morning I came out to my car and found that it had a flat tyre. I've only had the car for just over a year and had not really thought about what I would need to do so that I could change a wheel Embarassed I knew exactly where to find everything with my old car, but when I looked under the bonnet of this one, nothing was there Crying or Very sad I then had to read the manual and eventually found the kit which resembled a jigsaw puzzle. The wheelbrace was in three parts for a start Surprised Eventually I managed to figure out how to unpack it and put it together. All in all it took me almost an hour to change the wheel. Normally I could have done it in about 15 minutes. Luckily I was in the driveway and would hate for it to have happened on the main road. The tyre did have a small tear in the side wall but that has been there for ages. I think that there is a nail in the top of the tyre though which has probably caused a slow punture.

The lesson is to make sure you know where to find the kit just in case the same thing happens to you. I rang Kwik fit who quoted me £150 for a new tyre. I then rang Angle park garage who are looking for £86. Guess who will be getting the job?

I thought I had read that there were two of these cars. However, it says that there was only one available for filming. I had also read that one had been written off by ending up in the water and wondered how it could have been so bad. Now I can see why Shocked
