Seems a few bins from my area were stolen at the weekend so if your bin is outside at the front of your house it might be an idea to move it to somewhere more secure. There are two possible reasons for the thefts: some "white van / pickup" people use them to carry stuff in or people pinch them to sell on for less than the normal council rate (eg. to those whose bins have been nicked)

we paintit wer name an adders a ower ours cause its no worth the time it teks them tae scrub it aff and when its windy we ken which is oors when we find it
