Watch out, taxi about

Last week when I was in Imrie Place I had the misfortune to come across a taxi driver who was intent on hurling abuse at the guys emptying the bins, basically just making an arse of himself in the process. Then tonight I had the misfortune to see the same guy again, as the front of his Voltswagon was about 6 feet away from me as I crossed across the front of the car wash in Penicuik, all I can say is if I hadn't been able to run I sure as heck would not be typing this now! Here's hoping I never have the misfortune to actually phone for a taxi and have him appear

I'd say that was reportable.

I happen to know that Lothian and Borders Police are taking heavy interest in taxi companies right now. A lot of seriously unpleasant people are getting involved in taxis in this area and L&B (I'm told) are determined that Edinburgh - and hopefully Midlothian generally - won't go the same way as Glasgow.

I'm assuming that it was a driver for one of the private hire lot....... If it was a "black cab", the cooncil will certainly be interested.

But either way, report it. This driver sounds like a total pscho.
