At this rate Midlothian will have nothing left, except for lots of council offices.

They are hoping to boost funds during the winter olympics -advert now running on radio Forth...doubt if it will be enough though

Well why should Midlothian counciltax payer subsidise something that is probably more used by Edinburgh folk and indeed wider central scotland and tourists, just because of where the boundery line fell when they split the old LRC? This should perhaps be a joint venture between Edinburgh and Midlothian, or better still, get a private firm to run it on the councils behalf with the brief to make a profit for counciltax payers?
