Salvation Army are opening their new shop in John Street on 1st November, signage now up.

Ann Summers had look at the site, based on their on line sales figures but could not justify the rent.

I noticed the former dry cleaners shop (next to Lloyds TSB) is being stripped out today so could something be happening there? Also spotted the door of the butchers was boarded up so obviously been targeted by the "Penicuik Intelligensia" on their mission to vandalise all the shops in the town.
