We have had no phone or Internet since Wednesday I rang to report the fault and a machine checked the line which showed the fault was at the exchange and arranged for an engineer to investigate. I have now checked on progress and found that the fault is now at my house The earliest an engineer can come is next Tuesday All this without speaking to a single human being. Isn't technology wonderful

It seems that an engineer disconnected us at the junction box in the street However, it's fixed now

I've just been upgraded to fibre optic from EE and so far so good. However, although I knew it was happening today I never received any call from an engineer to say it had been done. I wonder if it might be due to him mixing up the last 3 digits of my phone number. Now someone else has a number ending in 536 whereas ours now ends in 356 It now seems that it will take 48 hours to fix it
