An update on the proposed plans in the Evening News today...looks like nothing will be happening for quite a while, especially since one of the buildings on that corner site is still occupied.

It will be the bricked up houses on the corner by the roundabout, including the former pub which is used as an office at the moment. Peel must have spent a fortune on buying them all up and they have been sitting empty for several years now.
It will be interesting to see the full details when the website goes live tonight (Friday)

Big story about the plans in the Advertiser this week plus more on Sainsburys expansion. Of course, they fail to mention all the jobs that will be lost in other shops as a result of this new retail outlet Shocked
