If they say it is going to be finished by the end of November then that is when it will be finished. Nothing ever runs late or over budget (honest guv)

The roundabout is open though you can only get there via Belwood Road rather than Mauricewood plus work still going on so traffic lights in use at times!

I went for a walk up the A702 to see this wonderful new structure with my grandson in his buggy.
I does indeed seem to be open although they have temporary traffic lights as they are laying tarmac
for the pavements. Also, it was not possible for me to cross the road with the buggy so that I could go
down Belwood road Sad

This was the view of the Pentlands from the roundabout.

The road signs telling traffic about closures/diversions are very confusing.
Going up Mauricewood road the sign says that it will close on Monday for
33 days but coming down the way it says that the road is closed. When
coming up Grahams road the signs say there is no access to the A702 from
Belwood road and to follow the diversion when the road is now open.
